Verify a Teal Registry claim

The public directory is the source of truth. If a claim is not listed there, treat it as unverified.

One sentence to remember

If it is not in the directory, it is not verified.

Teal-inspired, Teal-based, or operating with Teal principles may describe intent. They are not Teal Registry verification unless the public directory shows an active record.

Status labels

Each label means something specific. Training, alignment, verification, and certification are not interchangeable.

Teal AlignedSelf-attested alignment with Teal Registry standards. No external review conducted.
Teal TrainedEducation completed. Training does not indicate verified implementation.
Teal VerifiedImplementation has been reviewed based on submitted evidence at a point in time.
Teal CertifiedDeeper review, stronger evidence, observed practice, and renewal obligations.
Verification PausedStatus is temporarily removed or limited while review, repair, or clarification occurs.
Verification Not RenewedA prior verification has ended or was not renewed. The old claim should not be used.

Something does not match?

Most issues are simple confusion or outdated language. Reports are reviewed privately and neutrally before public action is considered.
